Before you start to decide on what builder to go with, ask yourself, "What can I never do in the future? What will give me more value and equity?" This is what we asked when setting out to create Craftsmanship Homes. We believe we can offer a better structure, more bedrooms, more bathrooms, 2 laundry rooms, multiple walk in closets and more square foot and cubic foot than our competitors. This page is that presentation.

Enter a Home Depot or Lowes (big box store) and see what a mirror, light fixture, faucet is going for. This is what these items are valued at. If a builder is charging more than what the Home Depot is offering you the value is not there. This is often a way to create value where there is non. We focus more on the value engineering, square foot, bedrooms, and bathrooms over finishes or customizations. Don't be fooled!

Lets start with foundations! First we build on 9' poured concrete foundations walls. We have no wood load bearing walls in the basement, everything is held up by steal or concrete beams and columns. All the ends of the steel are sitting in concrete foundation walls, all the walls are continuous making one continuous, equal, load distributing Next we have 10' first floor walls. We add 8' tall doors, 9' tall arches and 6' tall windows all standard. This gives the perception of additional height to the first floor. This is just a start!
We specialize in finding land that has old homes on them. These are mature, established, well known neighborhoods. Often we as the builder are offered some of the best tear down homes in the best neighborhoods. Rarely does a lot meet our strict requirements. When we do find what we want we act quickly and secure the lot.

We offer lifetime manufactures limited warranties on the home. These included the roof, the stone, The hardy and vinyl siding, the flooring, many of the other features. There are other long-term warranties like the 50 year subfloor warranty, and cabinets warranty. We offer a blanket 2 year builder warranty.

Even with heavy rains during construction we get zero or next to zero swelling of this product. It is heaver and has almost no squeaking in the floors for over 50 years (per manufacture) "Squeak Free Guarantee". We use hundreds of sheets of Advantec floor boards VS OSB.

2x12's only have a span of 12 feet, a Wood I-Beam can go uptown 20'. A Wood I-Beam(WI40) is engineered to be stiffer, less prone to cracks, no bows, and no squeaks. The top flag is wider so that it takes in nails, screws and glues better with more space.

Notice this floor is built with 2x12's the strength of the floor is not on the top or the bottom, it is evenly distributed. So the holes that are cut into the 2x12's quickly weaken the floor. See how this floor has holes all in the 2 x12's. With wood I-Beams the top and bottom flang make the strength of floor system, they are never cut into, keeping the floor strong.

Often builders use standard 2x4's to build there trusses on site. We have engineered pre fabricated roof trusses that have to be built out of 2x6's as a minimum.

You will notice on our floor plans we focus on bedrooms, number of bathrooms, number of laundry rooms, number of walk in closets all standard with the home.

Three laundry rooms are crucial, you will enjoy doing a load upstairs and a load downstairs at the same time. The owner's suite has its own laundry. No need to haul stuff up and down the steps. No need for the owner of the home to move to retrieve their clean cloths.

We focus on value engineering, this is our main identity. We may not have large two story family rooms, we would rather give you more square feet. We do not have crazy roof lines, we would rather give you taller ceilings. We may not have odd shaped homes with multiple bump outs, we would rather figure out how to give you more square feet for less money, and our competitive price for a strong home should prove that to you!

Not just talk, see line by line how we have improved the Frame, roof and foundations over our past homes and our competitors.
